Thank you very much for the help! I have called several times and none of them are very helpful or can provide me with any answers. I have to plan for worst case scenario and leave my partner and job in August which sucks! Very frustrating

Hey all, Considering my application is still waiting on Sponsorship approval and it's now been almost 9 weeks it's safe to say things aren't going well. Does anyone know of the withdrawal process and if I can get my application fee back?

I'm not sure about this. My application was overlooked by a government constituent and I believe on IMM008 you have an option to withdraw at a $75 penalty. Can anyone confirm what exactly the process is when withdrawing?

Still here and thank you for your thoughts. I believe we will be moving back to Australia temporarily for now and applying for residency there until this whole Canadian process is streamlined. It's difficult living in a country for almost 6 years to leave but I understand the process.

Very frustrating I've been able to link MyCIC and ecas basically since they started processing the application. Waiting on such an important part of your life is really difficult. Patience is definitely a virtue in this process

I know how you feel. Some January applicants with SA and AOR2 already and I'm still waiting on SA. Today could be the day :)

So my ecas states we have received your application in December 23rd only. MyCIC shows application is open, review of eligibility is not started and my medical results says review in progress. No updates received at all between the 23rd of December and now, not one email or letter. Be honest...

I'm glad that we are in the same boat but I hope something comes soon. It's driving me crazy too, I check ecas 15-20 times a day.

I am currently at 38 days and no SA. Anyone else in the same boat and troubled with the timing?

Any new SA's over the last few days? I'm still waiting and my application is nervously long.
