Hi there, Thanks a lot for the detailed response. Your suggestion of TRV is very good. Even I thought of this earlier but didn't go this route as my fiance is still studying (undergrad) in India. And I have heard students don't get TRV unless they are coming to Canada for studies. I missed...

I totally relate with you. Even I tend to feel the same. We follow all the legal procedures so why to be afraid. I also wish to plan travels to Thailand and Europe :-). I might stopover in bangkok on the way via connecting flight.

Thank you :) I am in a dilemma as it's just a matter of around 4 months. What has been the experience of members here? Do you think I should better wait 4 months and do it altogether? I'd definitely explain but would prefer to avoid back n forth documentation with CIC ;)

hi, did you update your address before your file went in process or it doesn't matter? I just received my AOR. I need to go out of country for 6-7 weeks and I am moving to a new address before traveling.

Congrats new "green". AOR list is growing and growing :)
