Someone at AVO has been consistently making this mistake. The form they're actually referring to is Schedule A: Background/Declaration IMM 5669E. IMM 0008 is the generic application form. Check on the CIC site again. They're human after all.

My guess is that you did the National Population Commission birth registration many years after your kids were born ... probably the reason why AVO asked to see the hospital birth certificates. Maybe to check if you actually registered the same humans that were born by you. :D Mz Johnson I hail o!

You can pay either way. Credit card online or with draft/certified cheque. To pay online, visit the link under and select the category as it suits you. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp With the online option you'll print receipts and send to AVO.

I bet it is because they asked for updated POF. If they're ok with your updated POF and medical they'll ask for your passports next and ask for the payment of RPRF/Landing Fee then.

You can renew as early as six months before expiration ... or even earlier as I was informed at Immigration office. The only thing is that they will have to invalidate the older one by stamping. They'll also have to retrieve it, but if you have a good insider you can keep your invalidated...
