You mean if someone applied for immigration that person should wait for 1 year or whatever time they take to issue visa until landing and then get married or divorced? Otherwise there are chances she has to apply again?

If she is the main applicant and all her documents bear a different surname, with name change she just have to share a document mentioning her new surname I.e. marriage certificate or divorce certificate only? My assumption was she has to fill all documents and forms again which is quite hectic...

@qtasneem Yes sonya is right, its almost the same process which i mentioned. I went to NADRA office but they said go to your union council they will make it. I directly went to City District Office in Lahore and got it made in Rs.1500 without even the intervention of union council.

@qtasneem You just have to take your mother and father CNIC copies with your CNIC and apply for the Computerized birth certificate to a union council of your area or to the main city district office. They don't even ask for the old hand written certificates. But if you have that certificate...
