September 2012: FSW Arranged Employment applicants join here

Seeing more movement in Ottawa. A friend on another forum just got medical request. They applied at the end of April 2013. Hoping us all around that time start to get some news. Just thought I'd share some new of more movement! Graham.

I guess just make sure the letter has exactly what they're asking (signature and full name of the person in HR). Your best bet is probably just going to the instruction guide, or the document checklist, where it references that part, and following the instructions exactly. Then you'll have...

Congrats! The 2013 PER list keeps growing with people getting processed. Is your visa office Ottawa? When did you get the second line on eCAS? What date does it say they started processing on? I assume you are a FSW2 application? What exactly does it ask for? That'll help us have a better...

Yea, I'm not getting my hopes up. It'll happen when it happens. But of course seeing anything, even if it's just the next line, would be a great Christmas present! We can hope! Graham.

Yep, it certainly seems to give what they've asked for. Like ta2 said though, make sure all the other requirements are fulfilled. I think they were given in the document checklist (i.e. the points ta2 mentioned). Graham.

Yep, I'd agree with something along these lines. In the instruction guide for applying for FSW-2, one of the criteria is clearly stated: "Your current employer has made an offer to give you a permanent full-time job if your application is successful." As I said, they might accept an updated...

I guess it is up to you then whether you send it as you have it. Based on what CIC asked for, I have concerns. However, they may be perfectly happy with it and simply just wanted updated copies. However, they may have issue with that part. I'm afraid I don't know, but my advice would be to...

I don't think so, IMO. See the below: If I was reading it, I don't think it addresses either of those two points. For the first point, it needs to state that you'll be offered employment on an indeterminate (in other words, permanent, so you can say that I imagine) basis once you receive PR...

September 2012: FSW Arranged Employment applicants join here

That might be why... For an FSW2 application from within Canada, you're technically only temporarily employed (as you're on a TWP), and will only become permanently employed once you receive PR. Perhaps they want it worded as they stated, and are giving you a chance to have it written that way...

Awesome, another one in the 2013 PER (hopefully) trend. Sent in Feb 2013! You should update the spreadsheet to include the other lines :-) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjsMYWx-8TnjdGJTM1l4VktFZ1Q5R1lfcTNLNzFEalE&usp=sharing#gid=0 Congrats. Graham.

Np! I also chose to star them and apply my PR label to them too! Help to make them extra obvious :-) I had to have a quick google to remind myself how to do it when I set it up. Graham.

Setting -> Filters -> Create a new filter -> From: cic.gc.ca -> Continue -> Never send it to spam That's prob your best bet, IMO. Graham.

Not to worry, I'm sure we'll get news soon! Then we'll forget all about the wait. Hopefully you get it soon enough that you can pull out the other application and not have to pay for both. Graham.

September 2012: FSW Arranged Employment applicants join here

Yep, not far apart at all. There has already been two who got PER in February that have started processing. There's clearly also a number of others that have seen activity who got PER in 2013. We shall just have to wait and hope, but it's at least encouraging that Ottawa are steadily making...

Congratulations! Is your visa office Ottawa? I assume it's also arranged employment? If so, yet another 2013 PER application in process! Hopefully mine comes soon too! Also interesting that there seem to have been updates to ecas outside the usual Tuesday update. Graham.

Congrats! Another one who got PER in 2013, as well as Jessica. Still hoping for this to be a trend, but not holding my breath! Will get mine whenever I get it... Afraid I'm not sure on the answers to your questions.
