Gsw - I would disagree with you on this one. American citizens also require a PR to settle in Canada unless they are dual citizens. They can move to canada for short periods of time without a visa but will need to apply for PR to settle permanently in Canada.

After 23 days of waiting for what was supposed to be "same day" service, I got to know from the Indian Consulate that a "CLEARANCE" was provided for my PCC. Feeling ecstatic!!!! Will be sending all outstanding documents to NDVO today itself via Fedex!!! Thank you for everyone for your support!!!
