Did you provide your email as a way of communication between you and CIC? If you did not, then they will send the correspondence through regular mail (Canada post). But since it's been more than 64 days from the day Mississauga received your application I suggest you try calling them.

You will hear back from them in mid-January. Don't worry. I applied on Oct 23 and still no confirmation ;)

Another week has gone by.... Praying those who have yet to hear from cic-m will get something this upcoming week! I have read too many 'no record of application' posts despite being delievered and signed by...I'm starting to get paranoid :-\

Now I'm kind of curious to know what are Mississauga's operating hours? Do they operate on Saturdays? And does anyone know when are they off due to the holidays? I'm thinking the 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st, and the 1st?

Looking at the stats, Mississauga seems to be going reeeally slow. SA typically takes 2 months, but early October applicants are only receiving AOR as of now. >:( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp They are working on aps received on Sept 21! Hmm...so I guess mine will...
