No acknowledgement after a month :( so depressed

i sent my spousal application with signature required and they got it on Nov 16 and now a month later
i still go no word from them, and the online thing says it cant find my record, (i used the receipt number i got after i paid 1040$).
tried calling, can't get through to a human no matter what.
i'm starting to freak out and got depressed...i hope they didn't lose it, i put so much work into organizing everything..i miss my wife so much :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

You're completely overreacting. It's quite common for CIC not to acknowledge outland applications. It's quite possible (and entirely normal) not to hear from them until your application has first stage approval (sponsor approval).

First of all don't be depressed, I applied on October 16th and got my AOR only in December.

The thing is that i'm from Quebec, so i still have to get approved by Quebec, but i'm still waiting from federal gov.

does that mean that it's 2 months for them just to acknowledge you and then 2-3 months for them to approve you as sponsor(as stated on their site)?
and then if you get approved only then they will send the application to outside visa office, which will take like 14 months?
God help us.

No - you wait 2-3 months for sponsor approval and then your file is transferred to the local office for processing. This part won't necessarily take 14 months. It should take less time if you have a straight forward file.

What about the letter of acknowledgement that says that they have received my application and are currently reviewing my file?

Early January most likely. I suggest you go look at the November applications thread and see that no one who has applied has got AOR.

There's no rhyme or reason to the AOR date.

I sent mine by courier so I know exactly when it was received by CIC but the date on ecas was much later.

I got aor about 7 weeks then SA came at exactly 62 days
