hi there,,, try to check the cic website,, I did some online studying before but it was less than 6 months so I did not need any study permit... You might need to get a study permit it depends what are you studying and for how long... hope it helps

Hi there. it is better to have work before you go home. you might have problem going back to Canada even if you have an open permit because they will ask you to provide a letter of employment stating that you have a work in Canada. otherwise they won't let you go back.
