This definitely is the question for your local MP who is the PM: Why QSW needs such a long long time to process at the Federal Stage?? We only need equal or at least fair attention and treatment from the Federal!! Is this so difficult for them to do??

While Express Entry applicants are expected to get their PR within 6 Months, they actually get it within 90 Days now. How come QSW applicants are still suffering from such a long waiting time...??

Looking forward to any updates regarding contacting your local MP, who is also the PM of Canada!!! Hope we will get attention from him to have the equal and fair treatment as Express Entry Applicants from the CIC :P

Probably we can think about contacting your local MP at Papineau (http://www.liberal.ca/ridings/papineau/) if still no news after this week or next since it is unfair for us if the delay is due to Express Entry???

But I confirmed with several Immigration Consultants that CSQ holder who is currently working is qualified and eligible to apply for the Bridging Work Permit though it will be bounded to stay in Quebec though.

You did it online or at the border? I heard it will only issued Closed WP even through the Bridging WP if you apply with CSQ.

Did you mean the Bridging Open Work Permit? Or you did another type?

You'll need to have your employer provide you an offer through the Portal with some kind of ACK# so that you can go to the border to extend the WP, or you'll get rejected there. Or you'll have to apply for the Bridging Work Permit through Online service...

Actually, we're paying many more taxes Working and Living in Quebec, man!!! Also I know two of my friends who submitted their PR application through EE this February and Already done their Landing last weekend......

I would say this is definitely unfair for inlands through QSW at the Federal level of average processing time of 13 months while EE is so much faster, and it sounds and looks kind of "discrimination"; it is too un-transparent to know the real process behind these...
