@ devpsd Does that mean that it is not a matter of concern for us even if we have not received the "Acceptance of Receipt" or AOR from CIO? What if the certificate expires before they generate the AOR? Would they not consider our application as late submission? :( Just a bit paranoid.

@shareview: OPNP - Asked me to contact CIC about the work permit extension. CIC - No need to extend work permit as long as it is valid for more than 4 months. No information about applications till they are with CIO. The only way to contact them is email. So basically, nothing new to...

@ananas, my GCMS application has completed 30 days today. They claim to respond by that time. I am trying to call CIC to talk about it. Hopefully we will get some updates.

The problem is that I have to travel back to my country of origin this December and also apply for temporary resident visa for my spouse. In such a case, having it valid just until May is not favorable. :( May be the PNP office should be able to guide.

Hi _MK_, he did apply through Ontario PNP. The only difference between his and our case is that atleast he got AOR and MR. This looks like all the Ontario PNP PR applications are stuck no matter what stage.

You can try applying for a GCMS note (https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/) which is like an online request to know about status of an application. It is a charged application (5$) which might take upto a month to get replied to.
