Work experience gained while studying OUTSIDE OF CANADA

But I have fulfilled the work experience requirement by my one year Canadian experience. The previous one is just for CRS points so it would not be "work experience requirement". Just "work experience"? God I hope it can work! Otherwise why would the system award me with the points and send me...

Work experience gained while studying OUTSIDE OF CANADA

No. My CEC one-year experience was gained while NOT studying. I was on WH visa in Canada and I already had my degree. However, my PREVIOUS work experience, for which I obtained points, was gained WHILE studying in my country OUTSIDE of Canada before I finished my degree.

Work experience gained while studying OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Because some people on this message board said that if you are applying under CEC work experience gained while studying never counts. Note, that one can not pick to apply under FSW even if he is qualified for it as well so this would be really unfair.

Does work experience BEFORE GRADUATION adds points?

What is your source for this information? Why would it not count in CEC? The rules for what experience gives you points are identical for FSW and CEC. The only difference are the conditions for qualifying one-year experience.

Work experience gained while studying OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Hi, I have been invited to apply under the CEC category and would just like to clarify one thing. I have one year of experience in Canada - this qualifies me for CEC. I have also one year of experience in my home country, I worked there 2 years part-time while studying, combined over 2100...

Applicants from Quebec who applied or planning to apply through Express Entry

Does anyone have an experience with Express Entry while living in Quebec? How did you prove your intention to settle? Did you get rejected? I plan to move only after I get my PR so I wouldn't have a lot of proof. I also don't know exactly where I want to move after I get my PR :(

    Permanent residence

I am basically in the same situation as you. One thing that might be handy for you is that once you get your COPR, you don't have to activate it right away. You actually have a couple of months to do that (1 year after your medical), thus you could finish working in Quebec and THEN relocate...

    Reasons for Rejection

What happens if you get rejected after ITA and sending all the documents? Can you just make a new profile and try again?

Experience gained in home country before obtaining a degree

I see. Well I got employment letter and pay slips so it could be ok. So what happens if CIC rejects my proofs and rejects my application? Can I just enter the pool again and try it without the experience so it wouldnt cause any problems? Or would I be rejected for life?

Experience gained in home country before obtaining a degree

Just to clarify, by MAY do you mean that it MIGHT be counted or MIGHT NOT be counted or do you mean that it WILL be counted in almost all cases?

Experience gained in home country before obtaining a degree

Yeah. I have a regular 1 year full-time experience in Canada on which I am basing my application (CEC). This issue concerned my part-time experience from my home country which I am only adding to gain CRS points (not to pass any eligibility requirements).

    Thank you Asivad Anac

Hello Asivad, I want to apply under the CEC category. I have one year full-time work experience in Canada. But I also want points for my FOREIGN experience: I have became fully qualified (according to NOC) to do the job in my field in June 2015 by completing my bachelor's degree. I have...

Experience gained in home country before obtaining a degree

Guys, can anyone explain this sentence to me? Does it mean that any experience gained while full-time studying is useless regardless of where it was acquired? a period of employment during which the foreign national was engaged in full-time study is not to be included in calculating a period of...

    Mon Project : Cap-exempt applicants

I think Express Entry through the CEC category would be a better option for you. Express Entry takes about 6 months for the longest cases to get the PR but CSQ seems to take almost 2 years to get everything done and get the PR. People who applied in January 2016 did not even receive a request to...

    Work Experience While Studying

Whatever you are linking here is from a 6 years old PDF that has been used before Express Entry existed. You do realize that, right? So have you applied and been invited? I am in the exact same situation and I am considering whether I should include this work experience in my application. (it...

Experience gained in home country before obtaining a degree

I have became fully qualified (according to NOC) to do the job in my field in June 2015 by completing my bachelor's degree. I have however worked and gained 1 year of experience in this field even BEFORE that date (while studying). Will I be able to enter that experience as my foreign...

Validation d'Emploi - Validated Employment Offer

I think what happens when you try to send it now is that it just throws an error. The button is not disabled, but it does not go through, at least that's what I read. But there is no reason for you to try your luck with pressing it, wait for the 18th and good luck! I have not been able to get...

Validation d'Emploi - Validated Employment Offer

Hi, I am currently working in Quebec and I have a validated employment offer by the ministry (Validation d'Emploi) I want to apply for CSQ and as I understand from the immigration website, I should have two advantages over the other applicants: 1) Priority processing 2) Exempt from cap...
