Anyone who received their GCMS notes, did your security or eligibility start yet? It’s saying ours hasn’t as of july 18th. Hopefully it’s changed by now cuz I thought that part of the process takes long :confused:

My husband did it last September for a TRV too but they still made him do it again this year

I applied July 15 so it took exactly a month. Maybe send a status request to see what’s going on

No interview for visitor visa I don’t think. But based on my experience you have to show strong ties to JA like property ownership, family, job, etc. plus a believable purpose for your trip and even then it’s still difficult. Yup I think you’re right, that’s the theory I’m working with too. I’m hoping we hear something September so I can have my husband here for thanksgiving at least. I’ll feel so bad for him if he gets here in the dead of winter lol

Does anyone know approx how long it’s taking for requests to be filled? I just ordered the notes this week and wondering how long I might be waiting

My husband did his in mobay and we didn’t have to mail any paperwork. The doctor did it all and it took about 8 days.

My bad. I meant we’re patiently waiting for the next step. We received BR & MR this week and completed them yesterday. We got SA as well. Hoping it continues to move along quickly. What’s the next step in the process usually?
