One of my friend is in a similar situation. In July 2010, I pleaded him to submit his application to New Delhi as it seems to process applications faster in the PNP stream but he chose the Buffalo route cuz the "attorney" adviced him. Result?: Its been 6 months now, he has not even recieved...

Me too, i waited around 2 months. CIC encourages and insists on applicants submitting all the required details including FBI/PCC etc. Probably this is the price some of us are paying by following their guidelines.

Chigirl, I find logic in ur observation. It is logical to think that CIC has no logical approach in file allocation/xfers to other local visa officers. what you mentioned about the probability of "CIC retaining some easiest of the files to process" is a possibility. My file is complete...

I agree with Chigirls' suggestion. CIC does not want to recieve email/case specific enquiries and discourages the applicants to make inquiry in any form. Showing up at Buffalo, NY office might yield same results as that of an email enquiry. You are quite close Avalap. Good luck Lettuce

Thanks Lightsinthemist for your diligent research in finding DILSE's timeline. I guess, Buffalo needs to do much more than just waking themselves up. More than the need for someone sending a professional action request mail, i guess someone one needs to send them a get well soon letter/card...

Hello Friends, When i sent this post over to the group, i had no intention to evoke a sharp motivation from the members of the group to fill the enquiry inboxes @ CIC. I only wished to convey how helpless one feel as a lot of our decisions small and big are on hold ever since 2 years...

ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

The whole "AINP fasttrack immigration scheme for SRS H1-B" was a sham, ill planned and executed pathetically. CIC seems to be taking off from where the AINP left us, in the quagmire. It appears to me that this process is designed more to test our patience rather than test our applications and...
