The quota that I am talking about is the yearly visa "numbers" that each visa office is subjected to. It does not matter when you applied, or when you got AOR etc. It all depends on when you submit ur passport for visa stamping, if the numbers are not available you will have to wait till next year.

Just got an email from LA office. Their visa quota is over for the year. They will be returning my passport and asked to send it back in January.

yes. they will give ur passport the same day between 2 & 3 pm.

I tried to go. Gathered all the details required, but backed out bcoz they take all day to return the passport unlike Buffalo which does it in around 2 hours. But, yes you can visit LA in person for stamping.

Anybody with experience in getting visa stamped in LA office...in person. Please share. I plan to go there soon.

Ottawa received medicals on Sep 15th. No news from LA after that. I have not sent the RPRF yet.

Hi karsatjaya, Welcome to the thread. I am also with the LA office. Did LA request the RPRF with you med letter or did you send it on your own? Was there any other info mentioned in the med letter like interview waived or other doc request? Thanks.

Twilight, I think LA office issues just medical without asking anything else in the letter (they may ask for more later on....dont know how that works!). For me also, they only asked for meds and no mention of interview or RPRF or anything about the interview. My med request letter was issued...

Hi Promised, Congrats on your PPR....thats really good news. As u mentioned, I will send in my RPRF ASAP. My meds reached Ottawa on Sep 15th. So if Isend in my RPRF by the first week of Oct, I think I should be OK. Thanks again.

Has any body dealing with the LA office sent in their RPRF? They have not asked for it from me yet, but I would like to send it in before they ask. Does any of you know to send it....i.e. the address, US or Canadian dollars and whose name should the DD made to? Thx
