The only unclear point is the number of people on the application. It should be the same as on application minus any dependent children. Don't ask why.

Take a look here. They had the same problem because they put the sponsor's address instead of the sponsored address on some forms. Did you do the same? If so, just fill the form they request.

They don't care about percents. They care about the net income.

To check ecas you only need you UCI. If you put it in the application, it will eventually appear there.

You don't have to. But you should if you want to deal with all of the process yourself on your parents behalf. Since you've got AOR, you can link your application to an online account and send that form online.

Mine was received on Apr 26 and the AOR received yesterday. The ECAS was available a week before.

That's confusing. So if, on the sponsorship application there were 6 people - Sponsor+Co-sponsor+2 kids + 2 sponsored parents, then when linking application it should be only 4? The above minus kids?

Have anyone linked their application to online account? Should it be possible right after receiving AOR or at later stage? The questions there are confusing. I guess we have to select "Permanent residence-> Family class(Parents and grandparents), and then fill the information for the sponsored...

Which is a good suggestion to anyone even not dealing with CIC...

I've got my status "Application received" in Ecas today. It was received on Apr 26. No AOR yet.

Mine was received on Apr 26, no AOR or Ecas. Just relax.

Why increase the already not that small load on the call center with such a relatively useless inquiries? It is just making harder for the people with the real issues. Just have some patience and monitor the thread. If you don't get AOR when everyone does, then you should start worrying.

They will. It is commonly referred as AOR (acknowledgement of receipt), and is widely discussed here. In summary, there was a bunch of AORs received on Apr 19, and none afterwards. Looks like these are coming in batches. Stay tuned.
