Lol...my AOR2 letter said "if your application is approved you will receive pre arrival services". Its one of the magical letters :), The other is Passport Request

I'm no expert but from what I've read Pre-Arrival Letter only comes to applicants who have been approved. Your passport should be requested next. Congrats

Mexico is known for very slow processing. Mine was also sent there.

The letter from Sydney is just to notify you that it's been transferred. The AOR2 is the letter that Mexico sends acknowledging that they have received your application. My letter is dated March 6th but my ECAS is showing processing started on March 1st. It's confusing because I thought the line...

It depends on your VO and how long they take to complete your background check. Then you receive PPR.

Question....Is AOR2 when the Local VO starts processing the application or is it just acknowledgement that they have received the application? I sent out a webform with address change and got a response saying we have received your application but have not started processing it yet
