    You need to be in Canada for 3 years out of 5. That technically means you have 2 years to move permanently after landing. You should be fine with your plans. Do not worry.

    I do not think so. What if somebody is having this application processed while he/she is in India? Also, if they need it, I am sure they would mention it when they request the passport but so far I have not seen anybody mentioning that.

    My file is in Buffalo. Medicals were sent on 08/26 by the doctor's office. Paid RPRF last month (I think I had received the request around 12/23 approximately - my lawyers office had received it). I just checked my status and it says "Medical results have been received.". People who received...

    Yes, you all should be. Your new I-797's should have the updated I-94. Be sure to carry it along and DO NOT hand it over when exiting the country. On your way back, you can use those I-94's to come back. It was painless for my family but feel free send me a message if you need any advise. Regards

    I think you can travel by car but not fly in the absence of PR Cards. Check this post, which lead me to this conclusion. Let us know how it goes. Check msg365108 in ainp-srs-h1b-landing-experience-and-post-landing-related-activities thread. For some reason, I am not allowed to post links.
