I just wanted to let everyone know that i got the email today to say that my file has finished being processed. Now just the landing interview to go! Well the PR card too but that isn't a big thing.

I have updated the spreadsheet. So now just 6 apps for 2012 to go. Interestingly in 9 days it will be 7 months since they started processing my step 2. But it is 8 Months when technically I can get them to check up on it. Only 4 more AIP's!

To ask for the 2 years, there is a section which asks you. (If AIP and PR are given at the same time, this work permit is not needed anyway). You have to apply for it though for 2 reasons, one you need a status all the way through the sponsorship process and two it can take longer, you don't...
