Hey Riu, Im by no means an expert, just talking from experience and from what I´ve read here and the awesome people from the forum has advised me. I´ve never heard of someone picking up the PGR letter from the embassy, I do not know if this is possible but quite a few of us has been sending...

She can send a case specific enquiry, also make sure that when she sends it she sends a cover letter explaining what the waybill is intended for and with the application number, uci number, and name.

For the SSP she has to go to Mexico City unless she has family sharing her 2 last names or someone sharing her parents last names and have a carta poder signed by her, otherwise she´ll have to go. It only takes a couple hours the most and getting it is fairly easy. For the PGR she has to wait...

If it says the medicals have been received and your process is done before the one year validity is up you won´t need them again. As for the police reports she might have sent a State one, is the embassy asking for the PGR and SSP? hope you get your letter soon.

Does anyone know how and if its possible to ask for an extension for delivering papers to the embassy? My due date is next friday and I don´t think I´ll have everything ready.

I had my meds done for the first time on oct 2011 and had to redo them oct 2012. I didn´t pay anything until the asked me in october 9th this year, they ask you to send an email to Mississauga and another one to the embassy in Mexico City, did they ask you to do this?

I got the same request for the police checks and I think we all get the same, they might have not opened the envelope yet. Did you send the SSP? When i got mine they asked me to sent a prepaid waybill, which I had already and once I let them know this in an email they used the one I sent...

I did. Hopefully most of us will be in Canada already when this happens. There´s been quite a talk about dropping the visa for a couple of months now. They even said that once the safe countries list was out in september and depending on how Mexico did they could drop it and I haven´t heard any...

Oh I just got what you´re saying. The form is being sent by my husband from Edmonton not the embassy.

Well, he needs to sign it and he´s in Canada. and like a lot of couples im the OCD here and he needs to get simple directions. It´s easier if he sends it home then i forward it to the embassy than asking him to send it to the embassy and write the cover letter :S

Yes. The embassy requested a complete Sponsor Questionnaire (IMM5540) bearing an original signature. I can just think of 2 reasons why they asked for this. When we sent the application my husband forgot to sign this form and he moved places while we were waiting for the AOR from Mississauga...

That´s what i figured. I´m just waiting for my husband´s sponsorship questionnaire and it seems it´s lost in postal limbo. They asked for it with the police certificates which have been sent already so after that document it´s just waiting for the PPR I guess.

Does anyone know if having a job offer before PPR helps speed up the process or if it really doesnt matter?
