DHL is actually very reliable when dealing with passports. I know the USA embassy uses their service to send their visas and I´ve never had a problem with them when sending important papers.

I was just going to say the same thing. Definitely keep them and be ready to send if they ask them but what you already sent might be enough. My husban was just saying that it looks like they get pissed if you give them more work to do so keep the communication simple and just do what they ask.
