You can only apply for a PGWP once in a lifetime. It's a permit that's applicable for a single-time. It cannot be extended. And it's not possible to first do 1 course, get a PGWP, work for a year, and then do 1 more course for another PGWP. That's not how it works You finish a course...

As far as I can understand, they are just saying that they can't issue us authorization letters, and that if we travel, we should not go earlier than 3 weeks before program start date. This is not addressing our problem about online being non-essential. Just my opinion. I may be wrong. Who knows?

May not be accurate as on date. But I read on one of the twitter posts that they're charging that much while booking. Definitely much more than the normal, which is around 80,000 indian rupees or so.

If the application is in process, then how can the student get revoked off their student status? I thought they were on implied status till they received a decision on their application, if the application is in process.

Permit permits me to travel by December end now, due to the latest covid-related regulations issued. And just to clarify, I'll be starting the program online from home, and they've said that will count towards the length of time for PGWP.
