Got my PPR today File lodged - 20th May Biometrics - 24th May Medical Update - 08th August PPR - 24th August Ironically, my admission has been deferred to 2023 by the university because I had no updates on the deadline day 7th August. (no winter/summer intake for my course)

I did. But then the uni gave me a 48hr extension. If I get my visa in this duration then good, else they will defer. They cannot postpone their course start date.. what they can do as a last resort is to extend the deferral deadline to as close to the course start date as possible.

Because of this experience, a lot of the students have now turned to the UK as it's much easier to get a visa & the quality of education is really good too.

Same. Only a medical update on 8th August.. University has given 48hrs to defer. Let's see.

Finally got my medical updated today.. File submitted - 20th May Medical update - 8th August. Don't know if I should be happy or not as some people even with medical updates have been waiting for months..

Do the visa agencies have an inside connection with IRCC? I've seen students with really poor records, qualifications & exam scores get their visas through these agents & then there's some good to excellent performers who got refusals for similar courses with all the required documentation.

Ironically I was one of the people advocating about those updates happening at the same time, but as the days go by, don't really know what to believe anymore..

People who applied in the second half of May have atleast had their medicals updated, while for me (20th May), I have no updates whatsoever. Should I be concerned?

Raising a webform won't do any good.. firstly they don't reply to every webform & if you're one of the lucky one's who do get a reply, it comes after a month. By that time you'll probably have a decision ready either from the IRCC or on your own (deferral).

In today's news of random IRCC processing procedure, many June applicants have started getting their PPR. Although the number is small as of now, wouldn't be surprised if IRCC just moved past May-end to process mid-June first.
