IMO, you can get your PP renewed as issued Visa will have expiry based on 1 year from your Medicals date or your PP Expiry. So you can send new PP when requested for Visa stamping. Cross check with Seniors. [Edit: Oscar7 has already replied. So Please refer to his directions. Thanks.]
