Not your fault. We’ve had our app transferred to CPC-M so I guess we can’t be too sad. Just need to wait the rest out. Or come home on dual intent. Haha.

I don't think so? I mean, I could be wrong, but I'm one of those in the August batch that is already transferred to CPC-M, but my wife is more than eligible as a PA and me as a sponsor, so I don't think we fall into that.

We received our medical request on the 30th but the first appointment wasn’t until the 2nd of October. Just received notice that our application has been transferred to CPC-M, do we need to let anyone know we aren’t able to do the medical until the date mentioned above?

File moved to CPC-M. So what does that mean?

September 19th we received biometrics request and sponsorship approval. September 20th was medical request. Bio will take place on the 24th of September and medical 3rd of October. Things are sure happening.

We received our AOR yesterday and today we received the request for biometrics. When we looked on the mycic account under medical, it essentially says (paraphrasing here) you are not required to take a medical, they will update if needed. Is it normal to say that under the medical section?

So we got our AOR today and on it it shows my wife's last name as her maiden name. We used her old UCI for when she came to Canada on a working holiday visa. Do we have to call CIC to change this or will it update as the application is processed?

If I were you, I would take the advice given to you by those who suggest you re-establish your relationship with your estranged husband. You have a long, long way to go. If it were me, I would read and learn that application inside out as I re-established a relationship with my estranged spouse.

You received a PPR? Was your PA asked for the passport or a copy of it? I was under the impression as a visa free country, Australians didn't have to send their passport off.
