I'm getting the same thing. Months after they "started processing", I've only gotten this status today, on September 6. Prior to September 6, the status was only showing that they've received our application on May 27, 2011. There has been no indication whether they've started processing it...

So, wait... October 6th is when they first accepted/received the application? Or Decision Made on becoming a sponsor?

This is such a selfish question; but I hope for those who have their files forwarded to their assigned VO won't be affected much by this.

I think the spreadsheet was updated by mistake. Seems like everyone has gotten their Passport requested. I am sure as heck I haven't, even though the spreadsheet says I have.

CPC-M sent me a physical letter (despite them saying on their Email, that the Email would be the only copy I'd get), along with the IMM540 I didn't sign/date, though it was a photocopy, instead of the original form. Would this be considered as "returned"? Since they only returned a photocopy...

Do you reckon a petition for a better communication (not faster processing times) would do us a favour? If so, maybe we should get something going.

You know… if we counted and tabulate the average time for processing for the forum posters here, it's about 8 months/application (and that was when the processing time was around 18 months). They increased it to 20 months, but that might mean the "ACTUAL" processing time is roughly 9-10 months...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've read… it's actually a GOOD thing. Your application has been processed, past its "approved" stage. Maybe a senior poster can clarify this as well? ;)
