If this is going to help: Immigration visas are a lot more unlike regular temporary visa where same rules will almost apply for everyone (because you need it for a short stay). Permanent residence visas are very case-specific - I don't really think it helps asking for things like officer code...

They should have your passport by now. But you need to let them know the situation and where to send the passport to. I assumed you were in Canada in my last post. You can't send a return envelope if you are in the US, they will return your passport by regular mail.

Where did you send your CEC PPr to? In any case you need to send another return self-addressed envelope to CIC add an explanation of what's going on. Don't assume CIC will automatically send the passport back to your address

You have a win-win situation here, so I don't know why you are panicking. As long as you have sent the passport to the correct address, then it's just a question of responding to the email for FSW PPR letting them know the situation. At least all immigration visas processed in Ottawa are issued...

You should get a receipt attached to your confirmation e-mail. You have to fill in your information yourself and mail a scan copy of that to cost recovery (CIC).
