You will probably need a new work permit and it might cause a slight delay in the application but if it's the same NOC it will probably be allowed :) you would need to let cic know asap when you start the new job

Hang in there, you can do it :) you are not alone. I am also on a closed work permit in a horrible job and can't wait to have my freedom. We will make it!

I really think they are just trying to improve their average processing time by tricking the system. Giving PPR to December and January at this point won't help their average much. Whole system seems corrupt

I have a theory...I think the agents at CIC got reprimanded when the processing time changed to 20 months, and so to compensate and bring it back to 19 they fast-tracked a bunch of later applications so they had a 14-15 month processing time. Now that it is back to 19 they are taking their sweet...

We're all in the same situation. I've decided to wait patiently for 19 months. No point losing our minds over this since there's nothing we can do.
