Well after my false-PPR, I send my FBI Clearance to the New York Consulate. ECas also says that Medicals were received, so now they have everything and there is nothing to do but wait now...

Oh bad news! The New York Consulate did indeed call me, but they were looking at someone else's file when they told me that I got my residency. They clarified by email later that day. I had a really happy few hours in there, though.... looks like i'm still waiting...

My application is as common-law, but as such it is not complicated (at least I thought so).

Congrats! That's amazing that Buffalo processed you so quickly! I'm beginning to think that they transfer the more complicated files they didn't want to deal with to other offices?
