Hi Canada PR, Congratulations! I am a FSW2 June 2011 applicantm got my MR on Augusst29. We reverted back with medical result on Sep 3rd. Since then no update from Ottawa. Its almost 2 months, do you have any advise for me at this point of time?

Any new MR for Jan 2013 applicants?

I have exactly same timeline as yours ...I also send my medical in Sep ....and no PPR yet. My ecas does not say medical received etc.//

Thanks Andy.. I guess that's the mistake I did. I could not convince my lawyer to send the evidence and here I go with MR..and its been two months I have not have any update. Well.. I am good as long as things get done. Hopefully.

Congrats Andy. Can you advise how you got the PPR directly? I know you did upfront medical but that information has to be updated in the file so that immigration officer can take a a look. I did my upfront medical but had hard time to convince my lawyer to send the proof and she did not and...

How about quota for issuing Visa (permanent) ?

Well what makes you say like that? Any thing in particular!? I am quite sure about the quota thing...and the above reasoning that I gave is a guess...don't know true or not..

I got to know from someone that there is some quota thing quarter wise. They issue MR or visa based on this number on a quarterly basis. I am guessing they are done for this month or quarter and they are waiting for next month. Please be ready to expect many MR coming...that's my guess.

Good Always Positive? did you do paper based medical or emdical? I think for paper based medical, it has to be uploaded mannually in the system. They will take sometime to do so. However I would advice to send email after few days or call the call centre to make sure that medials are uploaded...

Try to send email and explain your case. I know the chances are zero and you may have to retake your IELTS...but it's worth trying...nothing to loose. Also you may want to consult a lawyer now...
