That is quite troublesome. Do you think they are trying to confirm your work experience or something and waiting for your past employer to respond?

Call them directly over the phone and request status. The number is on their website.

Hey, do you think they will only provide application progress information over a phone call or CSE web form will do as well?

Send an updated form and explain the mistake. They will see it either way. Better to be proactive.

Did you give the gap in the personal history section that has asked for full details for the past ten years? As long as you try to rectify it and submit the form before them rejecting, you should be fine.
