A fre months ago my wife was asked to, along with her passport, provide a resume to the VO. What does this mean? Does this mean a random background check? Does this mean another 6 months of waiting?

I'm a born Canadian trying to sponsor my wife during this fiasco. They don't care about me either! As much as I love my country, I'm pretty shocked at how little press coverage this is getting and how people seem so indifferent. :(
