Yes they took and they will not give it back untill it will expire. But the expiration date of the passport is august 2016 and I cant wait that long. I need the copies in the next couple months.

Hi Nortena Yes they are living in Calgary but i don't know their timeline. All i know is that they took their citizenship in 14 months.

Hi nortena From what i know in their notice it wasn't saying anything about oath because my sister-in-law before they go for the test she was saying that they have to wait 2-3 months for the oath if they pass the test. My brother told me that the officers told them that everybody pass the test...

congatulations justmeinyyc!!! yes i guess the floods caused delays in calgary and by the way my brother and his wife they wrote the test and they pass and they took the oath the same day. Good luck my friend ;) ;) ;)

It seems the time in Calgary is from 12 to 24 months. And yes processing time in our province its very slow. Thanks for your help Canuto.
