Yes, there was one or 2 cases in this forum where VO officer sent them email stating that they need more clarification concerning some issues, like more authentic experience letters or such things, and these documents they have to be sent within certain time-frame.

Well, better to apply at once but the problem is always the documents... do you have all the required documents already, including IELTS and WES (originals)?!! if yes, so apply at once, don't waste time and i think that people who are applying now their procedures will be faster than first months.

It is related to the type of program not the date or the time of it. If you apply as federal skilled worker with no job offer or Phd stream, so you are FSW1. It was mentioned clearly in the guide. I don't know how it can affect your application, but unfortunately you can't correct it anyway...

They send the application back by regular mail, so it can take long time, 45-60 days even... And as you are from Egypt, i think you have to check with your post Office every week at least.

I think with these numbers announced by CIC, the 5000 cap won't be reached for FSW2013. Till now 4 occupations reached their 300 cap and 6 others have 95+ applicants and probably will reach its 300 cap. This means that to reach the 5000 cap, each remaining occupation should have around 140...

Use CIC website and choose "Pay your fees". Select "Permanent Residence Card" and then follow the instructions in the their email. You will need to register first by your email, this will be required to proceed.
