AB health care - urgent situation

Thanks! We got AIP earlier this month on the 8th but the work permit never arrived, we think it got lost somehow! Tried to go to the registry with the AIP email, but she wanted to see the actual work permit. Or should I try call Alberta health services themselves?

    Just For Laughs :D

Oh my god, I am such a hypochondriac I swear, I'm experiencing some unusual changes in my digestive system and went through their "symptom checker" and resulted in possible stomach cancers and polyps - stayed up all night with mixed emotions running a mile a minute!! :-\

AB health care - urgent situation

I am in the unfortunate situation where my spousal open work permit has been either lost in the mail, or somehow returned to where it was sent from. On top of that I am not sure if I'm doing all that well, and been noticing some alarming changes in my health. I have an travel insurance but it...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Wow, is there really such place existing? I'm not sure what's going on with me, but it's been pretty dreadful the last few days, but I don't wanna go to the hospital unless it worsens. We might just pay for a walk in clinic, I am just curious how much they cost if they would even take anyone in...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Oh man. Unlucky is the word right now. Only just realized that my insurance company doesn't cover docs visits, has any of you any idea of much we'd need to pay for a visit here in Alberta? (Walk in) I might have taken one too many iron tablets when really I shouldn't to boost what I thought was...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hopefully they would be able to forward it. If you have an UCI number you can call the call centre (not sure whether they need you to provide your UCI number or not) and ask what will happen. Otherwise yes, you probably will get it returned!

Thanks Screech, I can't thank you enough for your great answers! My partner is the Canadian one, but regardless i think you may very well be right. I would not risk it and it's probably best if we wait, to make it smoother. I can't even imagine me being denied entry and everything being wasted...

We can't make up our minds right now, cause he'd really love to tag along with me and it would be a lot easier. But his work schedule is very hectic and has an a*s of a boss who probably would whine if he requests time off.. :D But otherwise we are going in June hopefully when everything is...

You are so right! It's a mess but at least getting AIP gave us some relief I guess! :) I will be flying to England and connecting to Denmark that way is cheapest I think. But I was informed that the next time I get into Canada I'd get questioned so not having the pr card on hand makes me think...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I don't even care anymore, might as well just get my medical done, so things can get moving. It's so silly, mentally prepared for everything. Not fair to say the least! But hey, got offered a free ticket back home, what do you think, is it too risky? I once had a warning coming into Canada...

    Family members medical examination

I think you should be fine. We only sent in proof that I was joint to my partners account, him not being joint to mine, and we still got accepted. As long as you send in a mix of good proof, which sounds like you got, you should be all good.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

You can't get implied status by including an OWP along with your inland application as of this month. You'd need to extend your stay as a visitor whenever it runs out.
