Does cap of 1000 means 1000 successful applications or 1000 by count? The moment CIC received 1000 apps under a particular NOC, they will stop intake of any other apps under that category? Because there will be some rejections also. So the rejection count will be included in 1000?

You can take a chance. But please bear it in mind that 2174 is amongst the hottest of NOC's. Keep your fingers crossed.

There are some other agencies as well who collect the fingerprints from home.

Keep calling their customer service number and follow it up.

In my view, anyone applying after 15th May for 2174 will be taking risk since this is one of the hottest NOC'S.

Lead statement is one which comes under description of noc. It's important that your experience reflects or qualifies this statement. This is very important. Must pay attention to lead statement.

I agree. These are fast moving categories and hence may get filled faster even though cap has increased to 1000. But then updates on cic websites in a sense doesn't reflect true picture. Last year 2174 reached its capacity in August whereas in actual it got filled in May itself.

I don't think the documents will be required unless you are claiming points for Relatives In Canada.

Will we get an email from CIC once application processing starts? How will we get to know on the status of our application? Do they acknowledge receipt of application? Thanks!
