    CIC website updated.. now shows "Working on applications received on October 21, 2013" Good pace!!.. moved a week time in a week.

    Same feeling!... 3 complete and no news for OWP.. If there are thousands of applicants, I dont think so all could be processed within next 4 weeks...Would be miracle if 4 months commitment is kept.. to deliver..

    I guess now 3 months have passed complete since Dec 22, 2014 since CIC introduced OWP for inland applicants waitung on valid status.. Has anyone got so far..Today is March 24, 3 months completed fully..with no news.. Any idea how will this process shape??

    Allmost all the applicants didn't expect such a timeline..and foreigne spouse is trapped by the delays as of CIC pprocessing.. .. After all is this realistic?? Media also published articles few months back... At the time of filing iI saw 9-10 timeframe.. Which now is double... Whocan aanswer this??

    Agree for many applicants it is 3rd month, CIC has one more month..lets see if they can process all applicants..Which I really doubt.. thousands of appplicants are left for last month!!. But the point is the treatment CIC is doing with applicants... moreover the CIC dept is like black box...

    As you all know, there has been outragous delays with CIC dealing with Inland spousal applications from last year. Some estimate there are over 15000 applicants in Canada without status and are in limbo... Would it be possible to seek help from UN Human Rights.. There are over 200 nations...

    My best guess is to go reach experienced lawyer. AFter readings posts and experience of abt 1 year, I can say that you should be okay, as long as you have an application which is pending with CIC. Definately you are not eligible for OWP as status is not valid. If you recieve any notice or...
