Posting for a friend. Recently graduated from private college. Aware that he can't get a PGWP because of Private college. He has a job offer for skilled job but employer won't do LMIA. His study permit and work permit is expiring soon, can he work full time on implied status while he's applying...

I would like to hire a relative as a nanny for my kids. I know the steps to obtain LMIA but just curious if it would be allowed to hire a blood relative. She also has a visitor visa. Would it be okay if she comes here and applies work permit from Canada or does it have to be from her home country?

Hello all, I phoned CIC because I am freaking out that I am not able to log in to ECAS. It has been a month. The lady said my application is in process but couldn't explain why I am not able to log in. I guess I will wait for test invite through the mail.

I am still waiting for In Process unfortunately.
