I didn't do ECA for SE, but yes for ECA yes the transcripts must be sealed and stamped officially by the institute. For SE application an applicant told me he just sent his certified certificates/ transcripts with the rest of the document package.

For supportive documents, are you referring to your academic certificates/ proof of identity, or your translation projects instead? For the former, I think you can have a notary public to provide you with a statement proving that those are the translated certs or alike.

As long as you have 2 yrs+ self employment experiences. You need to mention your plan in schedule 6A. Some of the applicants here did not hire a lawyer.

Fingerprints, or biometrics so they call it, will be requested after your application forms are received, and those must be collected at a specific centre. For police certs, every one in your family will be required to apply for one. These information are accessible on the official website.
