Does anyone know how much it take to get the FBI finger check done. I have applied on 7th April , CC charged on May 12th but still have not got the certificate. Also is their any phone number to check the status or request.

Based on the timelines .. CIC has processed visa for passport received on 12th May yesterday. Today all applicant who has submitted passport on 13th May should get an update after 5PM as canada post dont update anything before 5 PM. Please correct me if my understanding and observation is not...

Waiting for return tracker to be active is killing .. Mine was received by CIC on 13th May.. I was hopping I will get it back by today but CIC is not that fast :( :o :o :o :o :o :o

Got a reply from CIC regarding my request to have the visa stamping done for my dependent outside Canada. Got a reply simillar to ready for visa request , with the procedure to get the visa stamping done . Fast reply from CIC

I am just thinking of sending my passport along to CIC and write a note to suggest what should I do for my dependent as they are not in Canad. Wanted to pursue something which someone has alreday tried.

Hello Friends / Senior , Recently we all have observed that passport request are getting very slow. In a day we are hearing about only 0ne or two ppassport rest and few days even none. At trackit last passport request was of 2nd... Can you guys think of what would be causing this slowness...

What are your timelines ? Is you application status still "Application recieved ". I am surprised to see such request after this much time.
