Nice to see someone else from Quebec City around. Also, I posted this in the may thread, but maybe I should do it here: I had sent an application in may and it was returned yesterday. I've resent it this morning, so please move me from May to July. Guess I'm team july now ;)

Our application has just been returned. My wife's form wasn't missing a checkbox somehow (it's in the PDF but didn't show on the paper.) From what I can gather, mine and our daughter's can be resubmitted unmodified, but I'm not sure about my wife's. Can we just replace the bad page with a new one?

You have to mention it. Lying in your application is the one thing that can result in loss of citizenship. Don't do it. As for it being a problem, I don't see why it would. It is not illegal to work for Canadian employers. If you're not in Canada, you don't need a work visa or anything...

I think the source of confusion is that the instructions guide has a note that seems to contradict this, at least in some cases: "Note: If you were in your country of origin immediately prior to becoming a permanent resident and landing in Canada and this time falls within this four year period...
