so even your application doesn't showed that its got updated? which means if you miss the email there is very less chance to find out if your application is approved

u probably need to read the requirements again. anyways medical for pr is different then work permit they will request once they start working on your application, either you can do it now or wait for them to ask.

no you don't need money in your account, as long as you have submitted your t4 and notice of assessment.
