I sent email to them and they confirmed that my file is in Ottawa and that they received the requested document by Buffalo and the case is under security check. Check your spam or contact them and see what is going on with your file.

I am and my file is in Ottawa now. Ecase shows "In Progress" since May 2, 2012.

You can travel any time during the process as long as you keep your status in Canada. Meaning, you are able to return if you go outside the country. I hope I did answer your question.

They may start sending the PR by August. It says do not contact Ottawa before 60 days. Yet, you can still email them and tell them about your expiration status and get their advice
