No OWP for me yet, they said they mailed it to me and I will have to call again if I don't get it in 6 weeks!! I think it got lost in the mail... As they have the right address.

Still no OWP for me :(. Our applications are processed on a first come first serve basis pretty much. 2014 applicants shouldn't be hearing before us unless there are special circumstances or most if not all 2013 applications have been processed.

You do have to stop working when it ends though unless you renew before you get PR or get PR before owp expiry. Keep in mind, unfortunately, some people don't qualify for family sponsorship as well and get denied. Therefore, they would need to stop working.

My wife just wrote the letter herself and it went fine ;). Just provide all the contact information of your employer! Edit: Obviously, she got her boss to sign the letter.

It is still a temporary work permit though as it has a time limit on it and is tied to the spouse PR process... :(

Congrats! It said the same on my AIP but then had an [ x ] on what I needed to provide. It seems like a generic email. Maybe others can chime to see what they say!!
