30 days left for me. This is the worst time out of the whole process. Every day I wake up thinking today could be the day, I check several times per day and at the end of the day I end up disappointed.

With 32 days to go, I finally took the step of calling IRCC. The only information the agent would tell me is that my application was with London VO. She wouldn't say when or any other status. And now I can't find contact details for London VO except for the webform. Grrr! Looks like I'll just...

Same here. AOR 6 Feb. I had something like 30 entries on my travel history. Most to the US but also to Mexico and Cuba! Not a peep since Biometric update on 29 March. I ordered GCMS notes around 28 days ago should receive them shortly.

36 days left for me and nothing since Bio letter. I ordered GCMS notes a month ago so hoping to receive them shortly. The waiting is a killer.

Congrats to all who are now getting PPR. I'm AOR 6 Feb but no updates since BIL - submitted 29 March. Just a quick question. When you get the ready for PR email, is your online profile also updated with the letter, similar to BIL etc? I've been checking my CIC account daily but not my emails...

Yay! We now have pretty pictures to look at when we log in every day to check for any updates! :) 9 weeks to go for me until I reach the 6 month mark and no update since BIL.

Potentially stupid question, but how do we know if there has been a ghost update?

NOTES Received will be the reason of ghost update?

Can I ask why you have already ordered two sets of notes when your AOR was in March?

    Personal/travel history

I had around 40 trips and I pieced my history together through a combination of passport stamps, expedia history, emails, social media posts and bank/credit card transactions. I then explained in my letter of explanation that this is how my history has been compiled and that to the best of my...

    Proof of funds question

Agreed. Having your 6 month average meeting, or exceeding, the minimum is the optimum situation. I initially thought that I needed the required funds for 6 months but was corrected when i raised the point. I'm waiting on PPR (AOR 6 Feb) so hopefully I can confirm this is correct when I have PR...

    Proof of funds question

The 6 month average balance does NOT have to be above the minimum. Respected members such as @DelPiero07 have confirmed this in the past (not that you aren't a respected member 21Goose!). The purpose of showing six months average is to show that there is no large, one-off deposits which could...

I'm the same. My 30 days since BIL have passed and still showing as "We have not received your fingerprints". Biometric details are showing same as you. I raised a CSE before the 30 days expired and they confirmed that all details had been received. If you want peace of mind, a webform request...

    Biometric

Sorry, it may not be called a CSE. I raised a query via the webform (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp), reporting a technical problem, and received an email a few days later confirming my biometrics had been received. The status still says 'We do not have your fingerprints".

    Biometric

I am the same. Submitted biometrics on 29 March and my profile still states "We have not received your fingerprints". However, at the top right of that screen you should see your biometric enrolment info, showing the date that you gave your biometrics. I have raised a CSE regarding this and they...

    Applicants from Europe and USA

My account shows the date that biometrics was submitted (top right of the main screen for the APR), however under biometrics it still says "We need your fingerprints...". My biometrics were submitted on 29 March. I am led to believe (and I hope) that this is a common bug in the system.

    Travel Insurance - Soft Landing

It will all come down to the policy wording of your particular insurer. It's one of those questions where you really need to disclose the circumstances to the insurer and get their confirmation that the policy will be valid in the event of having to claim once you have a PR card. For as soft...

problems with GCKey log in - please, tell your experience

I've had this issue ever since I set up my account. Both IE and chrome have the same issue. The following works every time for me... (max 2 attempts required). Clear internet history Login as normal but leave 10 seconds before clicking on to the next page - this is crucial for me. I don't know...
