Actual process time is 75 months from the date it got transferred to New Delhi. If you say file transferred in 2010(Let say Jan) so you can not expect them to make decision before Jan 2016. You need to wait for 6-10 months

Yes Chatwant, it will delay the process as when you do the medical upon request they get updated/uploaded to the file directly but when you without request they should update it manually. You know this lazy officers they take sweet time to update.

It is useless. You can try to mail it. They have changed the auto reply stating that they wont respond the status update querries and will only respond if they need any documentation or information. So that door is closed

If you think you can handle the documentation part then mostly you dont need lawyer. Even if you think is straight farword but dont want to stress out with documentation then go for one
