I always call at exactly 8 AM (local time) and it can be "hit-or-miss" about getting through. Either you'll get through straight away, or there is a call back feature for IRCC applicants if you are in Canada. Hope this helps!!

I wonder if because of Biometrics, applications got "reshuffled" based on how "late" they were to get Biometrics. I mean they said it was unlimited, but the documents said 90 days, so maybe after the 90 days we were marked with like "25 days late", or "14 days late" or whatever, so now they're...

A lot of May applicants seem to be getting approved recently, and before that it seemed a lot of June/July applicants were getting approved....maybe they really are going backwards...?

I think there is a lot of truth in this, I think a lot of our "Criminality" and "Security" checks have already come back from the whatever agency does them. I think we are waiting for an agent to basically press a button to confirm that the checks have come back and they approve it after a once...

God, it is getting so hard coming onto this forum everyday and seeing people who applied months and months after you getting through, and yet I'm still waiting. I applied in April 2020, and Security still hasn't started and Criminality is still in Progress. Mentally it's getting so tough....

The "pass the blame" mentality of this organisation does not cease to amaze me....like professional experts at beating around the bush. I think overall i feel better after the call, not because of the information, but mostly because I've actually mentally given up. I can't stress about this...

It's when you get an email saying your profile or file has been updated, but when you log into your online profile, you can't see any significant changes. It usually means something was approved (or denied) in the background of your application, something that doesn't show up on your profile...
