Is there someone whose file has been referred to secondary review and now got Sponsorship approval?

I saw some progress in ECAS today: "We started processing your application on March 27, 2015". I hope it's a good sign.

No approval yet. Our ECAS changed to "In process" about 2 weeks ago. But nothing else.

Yes. We applied in August 2010. No sponsorship approval yet. Same status like you: "In process" and "Application received".

I requested and received GCMS notes for the second time. I don't see any updates on the notes. It still says "referred to secondary review due to family size increase". Why are they not contacting me for any additional documents? Are there any other options for me at this point??

Did they ask you to submit additional documents before they approved? How do you know it was delayed due to family size increase?

Has anyone of you had experience with "secondary review due to increased family size"? Do you know how long it takes? I haven't heard anything from the CIC so far. Only found in the GMCS notes that it's referred to secondary review. Still waiting....

Did they say anything about "seconday review"? How did you receive the request for additional docs? By mail or e-mail?

I found the reason for secondary review in the GCMS notes. If you order them, it will take exactly 30 days to receive them. But worthwhile!

Our file is also under secondary review due to increased family size. We called cic and they said they don't have any time frame when the review will be done. The officers will contact us if necessary. :(

Is it OK to order GCMS notes multiple times? We want to find out what the status of the secondary review is.
