I got an email today requesting a couple additional documents as well as RPRF not sure what all that means but it's the first contact I've had and I'm pretty excited about it.

It still says app received and that's it. nothing about medicals in there either.

I emailed a change of address around 8PM one night and it was changed in ECAS the next morning.

I just realized I could check my ecas using the app. #. Still just says app.rec'd though :(. I did need to change my mailing address so I emailed them last night and this morning its already changed so that's nice.

Well since you've already overstayed and you are applying inland the immigration officer will know you aren't coming back to Canada to 'just visit' so you can and probably will run into trouble with the border esp. at the airport. A land crossing with your spouse may not be as big of a deal...

I was in the same situation and I know its a scary place to be :-X. I ended up returning to the states for a couple months, applying outland and crossing by land with my spouse once we had the SA paperwork. They didn't give us a problem at all.

Use a different browser. It won't load in Google Chrome but will with Internet Explorer. I had the same issue.
