Hi, is it okay to highlight high value transaction in bank statements using a highlighter to show that these funds are Credited from my other bank account and it's a legitimate funds consolidation? Or we are not suppose to use highlighter in bank official signed documents?

I forgot, one last thing here! If my bank statement reflects a cheque deposited by my father, having considerable amount do I need to get a gift deed? It's not a recent one either, the transaction is 5 month old, but it's better to get a gift deed isn't it?

Will affidavit serves the purpose? I already have it as my mom recently updated her passport where she was asked to submit the same. Yeah but that will delay the process of PCC issuance as well. As unless i get the new passport I cannot complete the application form.

Thanks scylla for valuable suggestion. Lower score in writing is bothering me and I want to sort it out, even when it's totally not needed for receiving an ITA. I just don't want to screw up with the process, so thought to post this question before I proceed for revaluation.
